 nice chalky monochromatic tones with real film image tones like this were gotten with the great film developers like Edwals FG7 or Rodinol..or by adding a few extra formulary grains of Hydroquinone to the developer..Tjis image has the similar nice dark tone qualities in the zone system sense very nicely done !!!!

-- Francis (L4D) hates: subways, hospitals, doctors, cops, lawyers, stairs, elevators, rooftops, vans, sewers, small towns, vampires, helicopters, helicopters, Bill, woods, water, planes, tunnels.. But he doesn't hate vests. :3  I like it without a watermark, but I understand why you'd want one.

Critiques
To begin, before I even saw the title of this piece, I felt immediate sorrow and disappointment, so I feel I must give you 5/5 for impact.
Composition-wise, I like how there is no need to include a face, as all the emotion is wonderfully expressed without it, allowing you to simply be absorbed in the moment.
The fact that this is a black and white image certainly contributes strongly to the overall somber mood. A good choice, I feel.
A beautifully executed work, congratulations. I look forward to seeing more from you.
That's what the girl would do in my fantasy. Probably she (I guess it's you) didn't do that.
